Firstly, contact us to discuss your bespoke furniture. We’ll then design your piece, send you sample materials, and generate a quote. Once you are 100% happy to proceed and your order is placed, we’ll move onto the build, handcrafted in the Hardman Design workshop. We’ll send you production pictures throughout the manufacturing process. On completion, you will receive detailed images of your finished piece. After we’ve received your final approval, we will ship your custom-built furniture to you, delivered by our delivery team. Then you can enjoy your tailor-made piece.

How to Create Your Testimonial Video
Thank you for sharing your experience with Hardman Design!
Below are 15 ideas and suggestions to inspire your video. Feel free to choose the ones that suit your space, comfort level, and setup. Short clips (30–90 seconds) are absolutely fine – no need for anything complicated.
1. The Quiet Showcase
Film the piece of furniture in natural light, no talking – just clean shots showing angles, details, and how it fits into your home.
2. Voiceover Love
Record the piece as above, and add a voiceover sharing what you love about it (your buying experience, the quality, how it fits your lifestyle, etc.).
3. Before & After
Show the space before the furniture arrived, then reveal the transformation after it's in place.
4. Real Home Moments
Film the piece in use: people sitting at the table, relaxing on the sofa, using the bench by the door – natural moments speak volumes.
5. A Day in the Life
Show how the piece is used throughout a day – from morning coffee to evening wind-down.
6. The Unboxing or Delivery Day
If you documented the arrival or unboxing, this makes for a great short clip (with or without narration).
7. The Details
Zoom in on textures, joints, legs, and finishes. Talk about what stood out to you and why you chose this finish/material.
8. The Soundbite Interview
Film yourself (or have someone film you) sitting in your space and answering a few simple questions:
-
Why did you choose this piece?
-
What was the experience like?
-
How does it make you feel in your home?
9. Compare & Reflect
Talk about what you were looking for, what other options you considered, and why you ultimately went with Hardman Design.
10. Style it Your Way
Film the piece styled with your favorite décor. Talk about how it works with your interior design or seasonally styled look.
11. Family-Friendly Review
If your children or pets love the piece – feature them! It adds charm and relatability.
12. Your Hardman Story
Tell your story – how did you discover us, what drew you in, and how has the furniture impacted your space?
13. Favorite Feature
Focus on one thing: the grain, the finish, the sturdiness, or the custom sizing. A short clip explaining what made it "the one."
14. Casual Chat
Film a relaxed chat while sitting at/with the furniture. Imagine telling a friend about your experience – authentic and low-pressure.
15. Styled Montage
Put together short clips of the furniture in different lighting or with different setups (morning light, candles at night, etc.).
Tips for Great Clips
-
Natural light works best – shoot near a window if possible.
-
Short is great! 30 seconds to 1.5 minutes is ideal.
-
No pressure – authenticity is more valuable than perfection.
